BrightLogic's ActiveFloor Lets Users Play, Dance and Create Special Effects

The BrightLogic ActiveFloor uses sensors that create exciting LED patterns, allowing users of all ages to play interactive games by creating bursts of colour and other special effects with their feet.
The BrightLogic ActiveFloor is a multi-touch LED interactive floor that delivers a reactive, highly engaging experience for a single user or a large group of people at the same time. The high-resolution flooring system combines an exciting user experience with advanced data analytics and accurately tracks users' movements to provide a fluid, real-time response. The interactive floor offers a wide range of applications, including parties, events, museum exhibitions, half time shows, and stage productions. It is an open architecture system that offers an endless number of creative options with lighting effects, games, applications, and other kinds of engaging content.
The modular design of the ActiveFloor opens a variety of options for creative design. Each panel has 64 built-in infrared proximity sensors that detect footsteps and objects and report the data to a computer, which enables it to respond to the user's movement in a fraction of a second. The panels can be arranged in custom shapes to add more energy to a stage performance, or be used as a giant LED dance floor or multi-touch screen for the audience to engage with. The ActiveFloor can detect and process the movement of any number of users accurately to allow them to immerse themselves in different kinds of fun content.
