GymCraft is developing ground-breaking software that combines virtual reality and gaming with fitness to allow users to play with their friends and experience workouts like never before.

GymCraft, a German sports technology company specializing in developing software that uses virtual reality for fitness and sports, is working on innovative solutions to build a virtual workout experience of the future. The company’s fitness games engage users of any regular exercise machine in virtual worlds through a display screen or with VR goggles and deliver a real-time interactive workout experience. The software allows users to enjoy real-time interactions while training on their fitness machines and full immersion VR headsets like Oculus Rift or Cinemizer let them experience races and virtual environments like never before.

Developed by a team of programmers, video game designers, UI designers, VR and 3D specialists, the GymTech software allows users to compete against others or train with their friends from all over the world in real time. Users can navigate through virtual worlds, interact with other users, and choose different scenarios for their virtual workouts. All they need to do is connect their trainer to the game via USB and the power of their workout will be adjusted using speed analysis and terrain slope data. If a user runs faster, the virtual terrain passes by more quickly and pedal resistance automatically increases at inclines and decreases during declines. The software can be used with different types of fitness machines, either at home or at a sports centre. It runs on any computer.
