The CardioWall was recently used in a case study conducted at Ernest Kleinwort Court residential care home in West Sussex in England. Rugged Interactive's functional fitness machine, designed to help users develop balance, speed, alertness, reaction time, coordination and strength, is often used in rehabilitation, and has again proven to be very effective with people with limited mobility residing at the West Sussex facility.
The greatest strength of the CardioWall is its power to engage and motivate people with disabilities to participate in a challenging, competitive physical activity even when they have never done this before. The device delivers a fun interactive workout that provides users with significant physical benefits. It also creates a social event for the facility residents, improving social cohesion within the group and giving the residents a fun topic to talk about.
