Senior Fitness with SilverFit

The SilverFit system, designed by the Dutch company SilverFit, is an interactive system used for virtual rehabilitation.

It was developed specifically for seniors and people who have to maintain an exercise routine to stay healthy or as part of a rehabilitation program. The SilverFit rehabilitation system uses computer games to make exercises more stimulating for patients and motivate them to stick with their therapy program. The system provides all the vital exercises that train gross motor skills and uses a 3D camera to track the movements of up to four patients, who can perform the exercises either standing up or sitting in front of the screen. The SilverFit has been on the international market since 2009, and the team behind it continues to collaborate with scientists, physical therapists, game designers and programmers to further improve and enhance the system.
